<div id="content"> <div id="contentmiddle"> <div class="contenttitle"> <h1><a href="http://halfasgoodasyou.com/?p=4141" rel="bookmark">Random Tuesday Thoughts: Back Off Ladies, He’s Taken</a></h1> <p>March 9, 2009 11:00 am </p> </div> <p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://halfasgoodasyou.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/randomtuesday31.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-4140 aligncenter" title="randomtuesday31" src="http://halfasgoodasyou.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/randomtuesday31.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="79" /></a></p> <p>Jamie hates when there’s trash in garbage cans and will walk around the house emptying them when it’s not even trash day. Same with dishes in the sink, he’s always stealing my dishes when I’m done and promptly putting them in the dishwasher. It’s terrible.</p> <p>I get so caught up in the semantics of whatever show I’m watching that I get pissed when things don’t add up. Did you see Big Love this week? Who was watching the Hendrickson’s umpteen children while the adults all went to the compound? Where is little MJ on Desperate Housewives whenever Mike and Susan meet up for a heart to heart? I guess I’m just bitter since these people’s children seem to be able to watch themselves and mine won’t let me go to the other room without one or both of them having a meltdown.</p> <p>I recently became aware of the fact that I’ve been leaving non comments on people’s blogs. Whenever I type the word verification and hit submit, I usually wait a second and then click away, never thinking that the word verification was wrong and that it was prompting me to type another. Oops.</p> <p>With the new swing set (which got installed last Friday), comes a new job: shit scooper. The swing set went up in a former dog poop zone so I’ve been manning a shovel for the first time since owning dogs. The next step will be training the dogs to only poop in the bushes. I need Cesar Milan, stat.</p> <p>For those of you who remember my preschool drama last month, WE GOT INTO THE YMCA PRESCHOOL for next year. We had to register Graham for the remainder of this year in order to secure a spot but that means I won’t have to off any of the parents on the waiting list. Now I won’t be going to jail for murder and I’ll have 9 free hours next year (both kids are starting in September). What the hell does a person do with nine hours? Blog? Exercise? Heh, wonder which option I’ll pick.</p> <p>Did I mention how much I love Jamie? He will go out of his way to stop and bring me home a surprise McDonalds Coke.
