Trick Or Treat, Smell My Feet

October 31, 2008 7:00 am

I don’t feel like writing much today so I’ll bore you with some spooky pictures and some cuteness.

Jen, feel free to link me up again if you’re in the mood.

Many years ago, I was a young single bear. Maybe this is why I feel so connected to Mrs. Bear?

A few years later I met the Grim Reaper. Here I am with Jamie (aka Mr. Grim). We were at a Halloween festival with friends circa nine months before we started dating. Apparently I’m a chicken with my head cut off (and a beer hat)

Here’s me and some hot chick I met at a party (aka my husband at our Halloween party the year before we got married)

I was eight months pregnant with Graham in this picture. We went to a friend’s party as bacon and eggs to hide my belly but I should have let it fly free since I spent the night warding off drunkos trying to get me to do beer funnels.

Then came the offspring. Here are my kids (Graham is the Cookie Monster and Elliot is the elephant NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH PARTY AFFILIATION) and their cousins, Ryder the devil and Jessie the ladybug.

The story has a happy ending,  some random cuteness thrown in.

THE END

BTW, if you’re here to BOO me, it’s already been done by Lydia from On The Verge

I love me some random cuteness.

I’m looking forward to all the little ones coming to the door tonight. I was at a conference last year and missed all the little darlings

    Hi Casey,
We don’t really celebrate Halloween over here although it is becoming more popular. I even bought chocolate for the few kids that came by… oh and mine of course!

A shame really as all those miles walking between houses could be good HASAY miles don’t you think?

    Awww…. Such cute kids!

Though there has been a very nasty rumor going around that the Cookie Monster will be renamed the Vegetable Monster. And that just makes me sad.

    Headless Chicken. LOVE it!

Aren’t kids just the cutest when they are small enough that you can make them wear what you want them to wear! Then they get older and everyone wants to be a pirate or a hobo.

Happy Halloween! I know I have a ton on my plate tonight and all day too! Kids don’t have school today. Ugh, what king of torture is that?? So, we will be finally carving our pumpkins and….decorating. Yep, a little slow this year! Have a great night with your cute tricksters!

Aww, you’ve got some beariness in you too. 😀 You and Jamie are so cute, I nearly lost my cookies just now. 😉 Yeah, yeah, and your babies are all right too. Happy Halloween, don’t eat all the candy…I’m going to wire my jaw shut for the night, or maybe wear a muzzle.

Great story. I think the last time I ever dressed up for Halloween was circa 1996. Cuddos to you for dressing up as much as you did in your adult life. Of course, I have to tell you how precious your kids are. Too cute! Look for my Halloween pics of the kids on November 9th! Yeah, I know…I’ve got A LOT to catch up on until then.

Love you in the egg costume. Awesome. I haven’t dressed up in so long. I should do it next year. And your little monster was adorable, of course.
